As part of the Faculty of Electrical, Information and Media Engineering at the University of Wuppertal, the teaching and research area of Electrical Machines and Drives deals in research and teaching with the interdisciplinary fields of power electronics, electrical machines, control engineering, digital signal processing and electronic circuits in their interaction for use in industrial automation, as well as in the areas of electromobility and wind power.
